Those mail-order outfits are rip-offs.|||Ebay, make sure you set a good start bid that you'll be happy with if no one bids it any higher, so if you want 200. or what ever start at 200, don't set it lower because if if you start at 40 you may only get 40.|||As some say, put it on e-bay. You could advertise it in your local newspaper too. Why not do both to sell it as quickly as possible? Don't fall for those frauds who run the gold buying by mail schemes. pawn shops will rob you.|||I'd take it to an independent jeweller, you'll probably get a decent price from them. Either that or ebay with a high reserve and a long bidding period, there are plenty of people who would buy it so I'm sure you'll get what you want. Just make sure you take some really good photos.
