Is it possible to turn the traction control and abs off with my 1995 Lincoln town car Cartier?

I don't like either of them, if it were possible to have a switch to turn them on and off whenever I feel, that would be nice too. I am not sure what is possible, so any help would be appreciated.|||ABS Cannot be deactivated in the 1995 Town Car, or any car for that matter -- and it's a lot safer than not having ABS since a brake lock could occur if you were to press on the brake too hard. This is what the ABS is for is to prevent braking lock and to keep more control of your vehicle in the event you needed to make a sudden stop... as for Traction Control, there may be a switch in the glove compartment where the traction control can be deactivated; however, since the 1995 Town Car did not have a full traction control system (and would not until the 1998 model year) and only a traction assistance system, it may not be possible to deactivate the traction system either. I had a 1995 Town Car at one time with the traction assist package, but did not know if you could deactivate it with a switch in the glove compartment or not.|||Okay... As far as the ABS, you are unfortunately stuck with it- and in truth, you are much better off with ABS than without. In addition to this, you are very fortunate in that your car has disk brakes, both front and rear wheels; this feature was something only seen on high performance sports cars and helps stop that heavy car with a quickness when you need to.

The traction control is usually a feature that can be turned off in some cars, but I am not sure about the Town car.|||disconnect abs module
